Why Monitor

Monitor exists for one reason: you want eyes on your device but you're not ready for a full managed-service relationship. Maybe you handle your own M365, your own backups, your own security. You just want someone to notice when something is wrong.

It's not a complete IT service. It's an alert system with patch reporting, sized for one endpoint at a time. No surprises, no fluff, no hidden upsell.

Most clients outgrow Monitor within 6-12 months and move up to Solo Secure once they realise managing the rest themselves takes more time than it saves.

Common questions — Monitor

Why would I take Monitor instead of Solo Secure?
Honestly, most people shouldn't. Monitor is for clients who are already running their own security, backup, and M365 setup competently — they just want monitoring as a safety net. If any of that isn't true for you, Solo Secure is the right starting point.
Does Monitor include patching?
No. Monitor reports on patch status — what's installed, what's missing, what's critical — but doesn't deploy patches. You patch yourself, or you upgrade to a tier that includes patching as part of the service.
Can I move to Solo Secure or higher later?
Yes, any time. We upgrade your tier on the next billing cycle. No exit fees, no migration cost.
